Daylight Depression

Dear Mr. George Vernon Hudson,

While maybe in 1895 in was a good idea to remove a hour of daylight in the autumn, it's kind of making this Mama cranky and depressed. Especially, because I gain nothing accept an earlier wake up call from my 2 year old son who has yet to grasp your DST plan. It is also painfully dark when my terribly handsome husband arrives home in the evenings. And from about 4:30 on, all I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep....forever!

I am sure many appreciated your proposal 112 years ago. But I wouldn't mind having my sunlight back.

The times are changing.

Just saying,
~s
