on a lighter note...

i am thoroughly enjoying watching the men's conference basketball tournament on TV today. such a great perk to being a stay-at-home mom... :)! "yes, katie 7x6 is 42..... HOLY COW, did you see that shot?!!!" i am pretty sure the tournament brackets will be a great, great lesson in math.
for instance:
"ok, katie who's score is higher Mama or Daddy's....? (Mama's of course!)
"ok, katie after many years of losing for uncle andrew, what are the odds that he will have ANY teams in the final four this year?...... slim, very slim....

again, one of the many perks of homeschooling.

today is allison joy (AJ) vincent's birthday. allison was born eight days before our anderson joshua (AJ) and while they have not been able to spend much time together in their life time we plan to fix that little situation when we get back to the mid-west. happy birthday allison!! happy thursday! ~s
