i did it all wrong with katie. i was totally over eager, and complicated the process b/c katie was no where near being ready.. (just another thing she will tell her therapist about!) i started at 21 months b/c i thought it would be a good idea before julia arrived to have katie potty trained... DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!! anywho, it took katie ONE year to fully grasp every aspect of potty training... EXHAUSTING! so, with julia i waited until "she was ready". she was 26 months and potty trained in ONE WEEK. HALLELUJAH! so, when it was lucy's turn i was going to wait also. instead the girls decided they wanted to potty train lucy. so i let them. they cleaned up every accident, took her to the potty parties, and put all the dirty laundry in the washer... and lucy trained in one week. no, thanks to me. :) anderson is showing signs of being interested in the potty. there is no way i am potty training him any time soon. i know boys are much different then girls.. i have no agenda with him and know that he'll potty train when he is ready. however, his 3 older sisters are quite motivated to have him potty trained... this is what i found this morning in the bathroom!!!

That looks really familiar, except it was Jarah putting Naomi on the potty at a whopping 20 months!! :-D
